L.A. Systems®, Inc. underwent a lengthy application and negotiation process to become an approved government supplier and GSA Schedule holder. A GSA schedule contract is an official federal contract that is not funded and does not have products or services for immediate delivery. Funding occurs when an order is signed by a federal agency.

Utilizing a GSA Schedule contract streamlines the purchasing process for government agencies because GSA has already negotiated fair and reasonable prices. They have also pre-approved contract terms and conditions and ensured adherence to Competition in Contracting Act requirements and all procurement regulations.

GSA Schedules also offer the potential benefits of shorter lead-times and lower administrative costs. L.A. System's GSA Schedule allows ordering activities to meet small business contracting goals, as we are a small business.

Congress has granted state and local agencies the authority to purchase directly from the Information Technology GSA schedule.
