L.A. Systems
L.A. Systems®, Inc. offers a dedicated team of professionals that are each capable of performing numerous tasks in diverse disciplines and have long term experience in multiple IT environments and missions.

UNIX/Linux
We employ engineers who are extremely knowledgeable in UNIX and Linux and have been developing applications in that environment for decades. They are well versed in administration and server support, installation and upgrades of hardware and software, and reconfiguration of systems to maximize performance. Other provided tasks include maintaining patches and tools, managing tuning, back up, recovery, off-site storage and job scheduling.

Database Administration
L.A. Systems can supply personnel with extensive experience in database systems (Informix, Oracle, DB2) along with communications and scripting languages such as PERL and UNIX shell. They can provide installation and support of IDMS (Integrated Database Management System) and will, if desired, follow projects through the entire development life cycle. This includes requirement analysis, Level of Effort estimates, creation of initial project plans and database design.

Storage
L.A. Systems has Certified Storage Specialists on staff who can design and configure highly available, high performance storage subsystems and storage area networks (SANs). They are familiar with mainframe and storage sharing capabilities between mainframe and open systems and can make recommendations for tape archiving, backups and general tape data set usage.

Project and Program Management
Project
Project management is key to the successful implementation of our technical solutions. Scheduling, subcontracts negotiation and administration are at the center of the skills utilized by L.A. Systems. L.A. Systems personnel are responsible for hardware delivery, installation planning, the installation process itself, hardware/software integration, systems acceptance, and the ongoing support of all customer needs.

Program
We have dedicated Program Managers who can provide decades of corporate, program and contract management experience. These individuals posses a thorough understanding of program planning and execution, along with program performance reporting, quality assurance and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Cross Platform
L.A. Systems can provide significant cross-platform technical experience with implementation, integration and testing of disparate systems. Our engineers can execute systems analysis and implementation of interfaces between IBM and compatible mainframes, Microsoft NT, Microsoft Windows 2000, UNIX, IBM AIX and other various operating system platforms.
